I redesigned the personal account for Plenitude and Evolvere to give users more control over their energy, billing, and services.
The goal was to create a simpler, more intuitive experience.
The old platform limited user autonomy and clarity.
We redesigned it to give customers full control over their data and energy insights in a more intuitive way.
The project began with a review of existing user research and usability data provided by the client.
Afterward, we conducted a competitive analysis and explored industry articles to better understand user needs in the energy sector.
We translated research into intuitive design by creating wireframes and interactive prototypes that prioritized clarity, usability, and key user flows.
The final high-fidelity prototype unified functionality with the visual identities of Plenitude and Evolvere.
Through close collaboration with stakeholders and an iterative design process, we delivered a user-friendly personal account that boosted autonomy and reduced support needs.
I was tasked with redesigning the web-based personal account for Plenitude and Evolvere, two companies that operate in the electricity supply and photovoltaic system services sectors.
The client asked us to redesign a personal account for residential and small business customers who want more control over their energy consumption, billing and personalized services. The goal was to make the customer experience more intuitive and empowering.
The existing personal account was restrictive and offered limited functionality. Users couldn’t manage their own personal or payment data, nor could they access clear insights about their energy consumption, sources, or invoices. This lack of autonomy led to frustration and a poor overall experience.
Our goal was to give customers full control over their data, allowing them to view and manage consumption, billing, and personal information with ease.
At the same time, we wanted to introduce a more comprehensive and intuitive way for users to monitor their photovoltaic systems, including stored energy and real-time usage insights.
Analyzing existing user research and usability testing data provided from the customer.
Conducting competitor research and reviewing internal company documentation.
I explored web articles focused on user needs in the energy sector.
Building on our research, we moved into the ideation phase with a clear focus: designing an experience that was simple, intuitive, and accessible, even for non-expert users.
We began with grayscale wireframes that established a task-based navigation structure, featuring a modular dashboard, a streamlined side menu, and quick-access buttons for essential actions like viewing energy consumption.
Next, we brought the wireframes to life in Adobe XD, creating a low-fidelity interactive prototype. We defined the key user flows to monitor solar energy consumption and storage data, accessing bills and updating personal information.
Finally, we developed a high-fidelity prototype that combined usability with visual coherence, successfully blending the branding of both Plenitude and Evolvere into a seamless, unified experience.
Collaborating closely with stakeholders ensured that our design aligned with business goals, while our iterative approach allowed us to continuously refine the user experience.
The redesigned personal account led to increased user autonomy and satisfaction, a reduction in customer service requests related to billing and profile updates and clearer insights into energy and photovoltaic data empowering customers to make more informed decisions.
As a next step, we recommended conducting usability testing and user surveys to gather data that will guide further improvements. The ultimate goal is to create a personal account that is not only intuitive and accessible for all users, but also streamlines internal processes for Evolvere and Plenitude teams.
